After practicing her stitching with sewing cards and plastic needles, my little Abby picked up a real needle today and sewed tiny fabric scraps onto a piece of muslin. We had a few goofs, but she took to it much better than I expected. I feel like I’ll be smiling about this experience for the newt several years. Making projects with my girls is just the absolute best. What a treat to see my child reflect my enthusiasm for hand sewing. I took lots of pictures so I won’t forget the fun we had today.
On the podcast front… the next one is winding it’s way through production. I have a tad bit of editing left that I plan to wrap up tomorrow. So stay tuned.
Oh, and tomorrow I’ll be posting some very exciting news. The Lola apron winners have been selected. Check back here tomorrow to see if you won!
