5 days ago by craftsanity Last night I enjoyed my first dip in the high temp foot bath my husband gifted me last week in celebration of our 21st year of marriage. (He knows me and my foot issues well. Lol!) I soaked while reading “Anni Albers,” a most lovely book with an exposed binding and cheerful, yellow endpapers that documents the work of the textile designer, weaver, writer and printmaker whose creative life spanned from 1899 to 1994. 5 days ago by craftsanity This is a quick test weave on a new CraftSanity Tapestry Loom prototype. Loom testing is one of my favorite parts of my job. For this piece I challenged myself to use only yarn from one multicolored skein. I cut those skeins apart and roll the colors into balls so I have access to all my the colors. 4 days ago by craftsanity I worked on another one of my test prints of the first CraftSanity Embroidery Sampler while I mulled over the best way to reorganize my entire house. It’s such a daunting task, but I know I will love the results - especially improved work flow in my studio. Now I just need to make it all happen. Heaven help me. P.S.
