I stopped at my local Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft, 4210 28th St. S.E., in Kentwood, Mich. yesterday. I forgot my coupons, but it ended up I didn’t need any.
The store is closing and most of the employees are moving to a new, bigger Jo-Ann store that is scheduled to open in April down the road at Centerpointe Mall. It’s about time Grand Rapids got a super-sized Jo-Ann’s, now I won’t be trying to sneak away from family functions in Detroit to get my fix.
