Today is Donald Trump’s 100th day in office and this is not a dream. One of my secret weapons to cope with this seemingly alternate reality has been to follow the.daily.don feed on Instagram where every day I’ve been able to chuckle over the satirical artwork of Jesse Duquette – an artist who has committed to documenting the Trump administration daily in the pages of his sketchbook.
After quietly enjoying Duquette’s work for a while I decided to reach out to thank him for sharing his work and invite him on my podcast. Whether you like Trump or not, there’s no denying Duquette’s unique blend of wit and artistic commitment. And I especially love the way he’s taking a situation that frustrates him daily and using it as his fuel to create.
Tune in to find out what motivates Duquette, 40, of Greenfield, Massachusetts, and how he juggles fatherhood, a day job as a retail district manager and his growing popularity as a satirical artist.
