Justine, the CraftSanity cat, has been very busy sitting on all my projects lately. Here she is sitting on the fabric I used to test an apron pattern featured in the fall issue of CraftSanity Magazine. It’s amusing how annoyed she looks when I move her safely out of the range of my rotary cutter. Justine doesn’t do crafts, but she loves to sit on them.
She likes to sit on my camera bag, too.
Moving on from my cat lady photo collection… Soccer season officially started today and I stayed warm knitting on the sidelines. Do any of you folks do that? Easy projects are great for sideline knitting. What do you like to make while attending kids’ sporting events?
The day seems to have flown by and I still have to kick out a handmade birthday present, a column about fall crafting and finish up samples for the magazine trunk show. And I’d love to run for a bit, too, but we’ll see how far I get.
Oh, and before I forget, I want to announce the winner of the “Sewing With Oilcloth” book giveaway. Congrats, Jane! You won! Please email me your address and I’ll send you your prize. Thanks to all who entered! If you missed my Q&A with the author Kelly McCants, you can read it here.
Jeff kindly put together an audio/video preview of CraftSanity Magazine Issue 4. Check it out! (I won’t tell you how many times I had to record to try to get my spiel down to less than 2 minutes. I had plenty more to say, so consider this the abridged version. : )
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thanks for stopping by.
