In the event that you have not already had your fill of the royal wedding media blitz, here I go with a little more William and Kate coverage.
I was scheduled to do a craft segment on WZZM’s “Take Five” morning show after the wedding on Friday, but my segment was moved up a day so I decided to tell viewers about some printable goodies for kids.
You can find paper dolls, coloring pages and printable British flags over at activityvillage.co.uk. My daughters colored wedding cakes yesterday, but didn’t pay attention to the paper dolls because I printed out the color version of the dolls and they wanted to color their own. Both options are available.
I made a super easy banner by gluing paper flags to a string of crochet cotton. I glued the smaller flags to toothpicks to make party favors for cupcakes or scones. I won’t be up eating cupcakes or scones during the live coverage because I have big plans to be sleeping, however I’m throwing this idea out there for anyone looking for a last-minute favor.
I blogged about the book I mentioned during today’s TV segment a while back. You can read all about it here.
I decided to embroider the coloring page featuring William and Kate and stayed up until an ungodly hour trying to finish my royal craft, but eventually surrendered to fatigue. If you want to embroider the royals, you can find the image I used here.
Congrats to Will & Kate. The world is watching, but I hope they still manage to enjoy their big day. Maybe they’re already married by secret ceremony? Hmm… that’s what I would have done if it were me.
