A Fall Update and CraftSanity’s October Weaving Workshop Schedule

Hello!

Cowl season is finally here and I’m very excited because fall is an easy season to love. The cooler temps, the colorful leaves, the natural dyeing possibilities – it’s all so incredibly fun.

Speaking of natural dyeing, I’ve been having a blast experimenting with goldenrod, sumac, pokeberries and red cabbage. I tried using a soy mordant for the first time and got some vibrant results.

I’ve also been busy weaving cowls, hats and scarves to wear myself and accumulating a lovely collection to sell, too. (Check it all out on the @CraftSanity Instagram feed. And while I love to weave these items, I especially enjoy teaching fellow makers how to weave their own. Sign up for a class below and get a head start on those holiday gifts.
