TV Prep & Curtain Update

I met Tom, a Valspar paint represenative, at my local Lowe’s yesterday and he hooked me up with paint samples for tomorrow’s craft segment on WZZM Channel 13′s “Take Five” morning show. (Thanks, Tom!) Check back here tomorrow to see what the girls and I have been working on.
Oh and the curtains are up! A friend came to my rescue and ended up doing most of the work on the project. Since I have no desire to pursue a career sewing window treatments I’m completely cool with this. I did learn a lot doing a tad bit myself and then watching her work. (Thank you so much!!) I’m so happy that I still like the floral print I selected months ago, and I’m enjoying the fact that these professionally lined curtains are keeping the house cool when the blazing sun hits the back of the house in the afternoon. Such a wonderful change after living with disgusting blinds for nearly seven years. Very happy about this. : )

Nice job on the curtain (can you please pass that along to your friend? haha). I love that turquoise color!
We’re finally getting around to painting our front closet here. It’s been nasty and dirty for six years, so I know how you must feel about those new curtains. :)
