Celebrating Downtown Grand Rapids and the People Working Hard to Make it Great
I bought this print at Friday’s Art Downtown event. It’s called “Keep Heartside Beautiful” by Grand Rapids printmaker Sarah Scott. You can read the column I wrote about her in The Grand Rapids Press today. Sarah is donating a third of the money generated by sales of this print to Heartside Gallery and Studio where she works, another third to the Heartside Downtown Neighborhood Association and she’s keeping a well-deserved third for herself.
In unrelated news, I’m editing a podcast that I plan to release into the wild within the next day or two. If you’re interested in sponsoring the show, please get in touch.
Okay, I have to get back to work. Only have five more days to clean up the house before my parents stop by for a visit. Thankfully they love me unconditionally. That takes some of the pressure off.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, folks. If you live on the lakeshore, please snap a photo of the massive waves for me. I’d love to go shoot some pics myself, but the mess in my dining room is demanding my immediate attention.
