You’re Invited! Come on Out to the CraftSanity Magazine Trunk Show Tomorrow in Suburban Detroit

Just a quick reminder that I’m headed to my hometown this weekend to visit my family and host a CraftSanity Magazine Trunk Show at the Fraser Public Library, 6330 14 Mile Road at 1:30 on Saturday, March 26. If you live in the the area, please stop by and say hello and check out all the lovely projects from Issue 2 including the awesome Cozy Weave Easter Basket designed by Maria Stout. (I crocheted the basket above using lovely yarn from Briar Rose Fibers and absolutely LOVE this pattern. I’m working to kick out more of these before Easter.)

We’ll have copies of CraftSanity Magazine issues 1 and 2 available for purchase tomorrow at the library, so you can save on shipping costs. Or, if you’d rather buy the PDF versions, we can help you with that, too. And if you just want to stop by for chat about crafts, that’s fine, too, because in-person sales really isn’t my bag. But I was definitely born to chat. : )

My daughters, the vice presidents of fun, here at CraftSanity, will be demonstrating a make-it, take-it craft for kids and I’ll be demonstrating some more crafty projects for adults. Don’t be surprised if we end up weaving on kitchen forks.

Ok, so grab your latest craft project, tie on your favorite handmade apron and I’ll see you there! (I fully expect to be the only woman there wearing an apron, so no pressure. : )

P.S. If any of you know of any Detroit-area craft shop or independent bookstore owners who you think would be interested in stocking the magazine, please let me know. It doesn’t feel right to not have the magazine in a shop near my hometown. My frog voice (caused by my eternal cold) has prevented me from working the phones. Thanks so much!

Oooh oooh, I hope we can make it tomorrow! Why don’t you try “The Next Chapter” in Northville, Barb at “Material Girls, LLC” in Dearborn, Karry at “Goods Detroit” in Detroit, and Siobahn at “Blue House Ann Arbor” in, well, Ann Arbor!
