My latest obsession & a CraftSanity Magazine/Podcast Update

The  deadline pressure is on as I work to put the next issue of CraftSanity Magazine together. I’m stressed but having a blast at the same time so no complaints here. The projects by designers from near and far are so diverse and awesome that I think you’re really going to love issue 2!

In the midst of it all the pattern testing I got hooked on making hairpin lace. (Evidence of my first successful foray is pictured above.) So fun!!!

Speaking of issue 2, if there are any indie craft business owners or craft supply manufacturers out there who want to make a big splash, I have yet to sell the back cover ad ($400). Being the back cover sponsor comes with lots of perks and high exposure to print and pdf magazine readers around the globe. Sponsor my mag in a big way and I will promote the daylights out of what you do/make/sell. Contact me ASAP if you want in. I’d love to have you aboard for issue 2.

And, in case you’re wondering, I have not abandoned my podcast. I have  several recorded shows in the hopper just waiting for lovely sponsors. Read up on all the podcast sponsorship details here and let me know if you want me to promote your indie business or crafty product on my next batch of episodes. Help me get my crafty show back on the road. :  )

Ok. I have to get back to work. I’ll be back soon a sneak peak of the next magazine. In the meantime… CraftSanity my friends!

Can’t wait to see what you do with the hairpin lace. I just started making a scarf that joins the loops in a chevron pattern. Looking forward to the new issue!

Can’t wait for the next issue! I’ll be interested to see where you go with the hairpin lace. I acquired a loom as part of a family friend’s old knitting supplies and have no clue what to do with it, but can’t bear to get rid of it without giving it a try.

Hairpin lace is addictive! I, too, inherited a hairpin lace loom and didn’t know what to do with it. Saw a tv show that demonstrated how to use it and got myself started.

Knittingdifits – I’m sure Jennifer’s instructions and/or video will begin your hairpin lace journey.

I haven’t done anything like this in years, but this is inspiring me to get back into the things that i used to do and enjoy and found to be stress relievers. I shall be checking back in here on the site for ideas and definitely the magazine.
