Yay snow days! I love having the unexpected time to do anything I want. These past two gave me time to finish the tree decorating and to work on a sweater for my granddaughter for Christmas and a granny square afghan for my older granddaughter for her birthday in March. Our colors are very similar – mine are pinks and purples and a lime green because Gracie is a true girly girl!

Hi Cheri. Thanks for posting about your granddaughter’s productive snow day. It makes me very happy to hear she had a great time making dragon boats and found the video helpful. I’ll try to keep those instructional videos coming. Happy crafting!

Grand Junction, Co had a snow day also. My granddaughter spent the day making Dragon Boats. She watched the video and she was off and running. She brought some to school, she is 14 and in 8th grade, and she was wearing one dangling from her wrist and her art teacher wanted her to give a demo on how to make them. She did not have time but told her about your blog. You now have some more faithful followers.

I keep meaning to tell you – one (well. THE) reason I don’t make it to craft club is that I work Tues and Fri nights at Field’s. Anyway, they have your tut of these copied from the paper and hanging up with the completed napkin and a potholder you featured in our store with some of the new Christmas fabric. :)

hmmm Well I haven’t had a real snow day for a few years… but I imagine I would make myself some soup and work on a few projects of my own. Maybe that quilt that I keep meaning to do.. but… well i’m sure you know how it goes :)
