I've created a line of wooden peg looms to make potholders and projects of other sizes. Read the story behind the looms and check out my etsy shop.

Holiday Decorating Begins…

We’re in handmade holiday decoration mode here at the CraftSanity headquarters. I made this little banner to hang from the mantel out of strips of fabric woven on the CraftSanity mini loom. As a banner enthusiast, I know I’ll be whipping up more festive squares before Christmas. I make cute little potholder ornaments on this loom, too.

Okay, enough about weaving. I have a podcast to finish and a charity quilt to sew the binding on. So many projects, so little time. More soon…

Jennifer – I have just found out that you’re doing some tremendous things with potholder looms… I guess I’m a bit behind. If you are interested in various weaving techniques in general, I would suggestion you may want to check out weavolution.com – there is a group over there specifically dedicated to weaving with this loom type. I too have been playing with potholder looms, and I like to work with larger frame looms as well. Also, if you look at Weavezine, there is an article up there about making christmas stockings by joining potholder loom sections.
