You can also use the flax seed and lavender to make cold packs for kids to put on their boo boos. Just make a slightly larger square instead of a rectangle out of the fabric when you make it. Throw it in the freezer and its ready when you need it. The flax seed doesn’t get as cold as ice so its gentler for children’s skin, and the lavender scent helps calm them down. Plus you can make it out of fabric with their favorite characters on it. When I make mine I also add dried chamomile, smells great with the lavender and is another natural relaxant.
