You can also use the flax seed and lavender to make cold packs for kids to put on their boo boos. Just make a slightly larger square instead of a rectangle out of the fabric when you make it. Throw it in the freezer and its ready when you need it. The flax seed doesn't get as cold as ice so its gentler for children's skin, and the lavender scent helps calm them down. Plus you can make it out of fabric with their favorite characters on it. When I make mine I also add dried chamomile, smells great with the lavender and is another natural relaxant.

If cold and flu season is to go down, fighting with a small hand TLC. Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood of Craft and Health shows how to make a woven cloth and a cozy lavender eye pillow. Make like a feel good present for friends and loved ones, or make a game in itself to have on hand when you fall victim of a common cold. Teapots for sale

Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood of Craft Sanity demonstrates how to make a fabric tissue cozy and a lavendar eye pillow. I did read this blog and it was very interesting. I liked the second part the most.

[...] If cold and flu season is getting you down, fight back with a little handmade TLC. Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood of Craft Sanity demonstrates how to make a fabric tissue cozy and a lavendar eye pillow. Make them as a get-well present for friends and loved ones, or make a set for yourself to have on hand when you fall prey to the common cold. Go to the demonstration and tutorial.
