Halloween Banner Weaving on the Potholder Loom

This is the Halloween banner I made for my house. I used the 13-peg traditional CraftSanity potholder loom to weave the squares with fabric, then threaded them onto a strip of black fabric. Loopers made from old T-shirts would work great, too. I’m hoping to get some winter holiday garlands made using the 6-peg mini loom soon. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of portable loom weaving. I’ve enjoyed it all my life.
I’m going to be working hard to list new peg looms in every size in my shop by next week The new stock includes several 30 by 38- inch rug looms, the biggest looms (so far) in the CraftSanity fleet.
If want to put in a Christmas order before the rush, just send me an e-mail. In the meantime, I have looms to build so I better get back to work. (All the looms come with basic directions for weaving with both fabric and loopers.)
Oh, and one more thing before I get back to pounding in pegs… It’s been really fun to see what people are making with CraftSanity looms. Check out the wool squares that Diane made with fiber from her own sheep. (Nice work!) Keep the photos coming, folks. I love show & tell!
