Dead of the Dead Craft Prep

Here’s a sneak peak of the tissue paper banner I will be using as a sample during tomorrow’s TV segment. I really love cut paper art and enjoyed creating my own design for the banner.

However, I’m not enjoying the sugar skull-making as much. I keep adding too much water. Ugh. And it seems odd to be making sugar skulls on the very day I went to the dentist to have a cavity filled. Thankfully this batch is decorative and not intended for human consumption.

Okay, back to work…

Oh, on the podcast front, I have a lovely interview with Cal Patch just about ready to go. We still have an advertising slot available for this episode, so if you’re interested in sponsoring please let me know. This is a great opportunity for any handmade shop looking to attract holiday business.

Okay, now I really have to get back to work. I’m also making cat and mermaid Halloween costumes, craft kits for the kindergarten class AND trying to make a new apron before tomorrow’s segment. Wish me luck!
