CraftSanity on TV: Making a 13-day Halloween Calendar and Spooky Ghosts

The 13-day countdown to Halloween starts Monday. Are you ready?
Here’s a quick project to get you in the spirit. Transform an old clipboard into a spooky calendar with a coat of black craft paint. Then cover the clip with a witch hat made out of craft felt. Glue on 13 painted clothespins, then clip on 13 felt pouches filled with stickers, temporary tattoos, spider rings and other treats. Number the clothespins 19-31 and let the countdown begin. Each day a new creepy (or not) treasure is revealed.
I talked about the calendar and demonstrated a glue-painted ghost project this morning on WZZM’s “Take Five” here in Grand Rapids. Check it out.

Fun, Jennifer! But – wait — no APRON! Is that really YOU there? Half the pleasure of watching these segments is seeing what apron you have on! Hope this is just an oversight this time – or maybe I couldn’t see it. But we love you in aprons….

This is by far the best looking site I’ve seen! It was completely easy to navigate and it was easy to look for the information I needed! Fantastic layout and great content!! Every site should have that!
