CraftSanity on TV: English Paper Piecing & a Stitch N’ Pitch Ticket Giveaway
Hi folks. Here’s the video clip from my latest “Take Five & Company” craft segment. If you’re local, I hope to see you at the “Stitch N’ Pitch” event at the West Michigan White caps game Aug. 2. This is a fun way to watch a game and hang out with a group of like-minded crafters. It’s also a great way to raise public awareness of the needle arts and hopefully recruit a few more people to the crafty flock.
Leave a comment below this post or my previous game preview post to enter to win a pair of tickets to the game. But act fast, the deadline to enter is tomorrow, July 26, 2009.
I’ll be at the game with my family and plan to have a bunch of craft projects including some free English paper piecing and spool knitting kits for those who want to learn. Tickets are $9 for a reserved seat and $11.50 including a hot dog and soda. Call Dean at 726-7071 to reserve tickets.
See you there!

Great segment, Jennifer. Sounds like you have great things planned for Stitch and Pitch–the spool knitting sounds interesting. Have fun!

I was there! :-) I was sitting with my friend the “non knitter”, knitting on a sock. Although by the end of the game she was knitting on my sock. I wish there would have been more people participating, but maybe next year? I drove down from Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and it was a beautiful day.
