I would like to learn how to crochet rag rugs. What size hook do I use and where can I get instructions on how to start? I don't know what a double crochet is... I mean really, I know nothing about crocheting. Please help me!!! :P

Thanks so much... Sandra

Hi Dawn. I'm sorry you're not satisfied with the free instructions provided by my interview subject. Perhaps a book from your local library would be more helpful. It's frustrating to read that free instructions posted here three years ago "just aren't cutting it" for you and that you have no hesitation about posting a comment to that effect. The woman I interviewed doesn't write patterns and was simply sharing general instructions as a jumping off point. What good comes of criticizing her attempt to help others? Sigh.

The instructions don't make sense. Can someone please explain this to me further or direct me to a link that will. I really want to make these but those instructions just aren't cutting it. Thanks.

I just got into making rag rugs for recycled t shirt yarn. They also feel and look great. Here is my last creation
