Knit A Pair For Charity And A Pair For You

mittens.jpg

Hello, fellow knitters! I have good news. Melanie Falick, the famous STC Craft editor I interviewed for CraftSanity episode 30, is offering this lovely Alternating Current mitten pattern from “Knitting New Mittens & Gloves” by Robin Melanson as a free download on her blog.

Giving away this great pattern is a very nice thing for Melanie and Robin to do. All they’re asking you to do is pay it forward with your pointy sticks.

Here’s the deal:

You get the pattern for free to make a pair of these cozy lovelies for yourself or a pal, and all they want in return is for you to knit an extra pair for someone in need.

This is a wonderful idea, the sort of knitting that warms the heart. Okay, folks, go cast on and make the world a better place!
