For the Birds… and Daddy, too.

I didn’t make this birdhouse, but I’m going to make one like it next week when the Grand Rapids Craft Club hosts a local master woodworker who will be teaching us how to build one of these beauties just in time for Father’s Day. Look for details when my weekly column appears in the Sunday’s GR Press. The workshop is open to the first people who respond. Children age 10 and up are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a $3 supply cost for the birdhouse kit. Sign-up begins Sunday morning.

This is going to be a fun workshop. After we make the birdhouses, we’re going to get crafty and decorate them.
