Hey swappers, how are those fabric postcards going?

fabricswap.jpg

It’s coming down to the wire for those of us participating in the first ever CraftSanity postcard swap. The theme is spring and the deadline to mail your postcard to your swap partner is Monday, March 31. So it’s go time, folks!

Even though I’m riding the deadline, I decide that my original and quick idea was too boring. So, now I’m foolishly embroidering a whole new post card to send to London. I hope it turns out the way I invision it in my head.

Please remember to snap a picture of your card before you drop it in the mail. I’m still planning to start a flickr page for this swap, so we can post photos of our cards after they reach their destinations.

Please e-mail me when you mail your cards, so I can keep track of how the swap is going. If, for some reason, you can’t make the deadline, please let me know, so I can inform your partner.

Godspeed to the rest of you who will be scrambling this weekend and congrats to those who have already mailed off their cards.

Okay, I have to get back to editing my next podcast. I have a sponsor for this one, so it’s all very exciting.

P.S. Thank you, Debbie, for sharing the link to an interesting site created by Linda Franz. If you’re a Jane Austen fan and a quilter, you should check this out. I enjoyed reading Linda’s pdf about the benefits of hand piecing.

I was very excited to have the post office accept my card without an envelope. I was a little worried since it’s bumpy on the front. Anyway, it’s sent, and thank you so much for hosting the swap. Is there a Flickr photo group for all of the cards that have been sent/received? Or if you’d like help setting one up, just let me know. I’d be happy to help.
